The 16th edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival ended with a resounding success on Friday, February 23 as Ricky Martin strutted across the stage with his signature energetic moves.
Ricky Martin also premiered his brand-new single ‘Fiebre’ featuring Wisin & Yandel giving his audience an exclusive rendition of his next big single while also broadcasting this live across the world.
The opening act was performed by talented Columbian singer Vera Ciocca. During her act, she performed several hit numbers including Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass and Charlie Puth’s Attention.
As Ricky Martin finally hit the stage at 10.30 p.m. the excitement from the audience was palpable. Music fans coming from various parts of the world went crazy as he set the stage on fire performing his all time hits like ‘Livin La Vida Loca,’ ‘She Bangs,’ and ‘Maria.’
The festival is the most recognized music event in the UAE and the region receiving more than 20 awards and nominations since its launch in 2003. The 2018 edition was a resounding success, showcasing exceptional opening acts such as Renegade Brass Band, and China Moses, as well as global superstars Duran Duran, John Legend, and Ricky Martin.
