Seychelles bagged the Favorite Beach Island Destination Award at the Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards on 13th Dec 2017 at Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi.
Conde Nast Traveller recently awarded the travel and tourism community for their significant contribution to global travel. Dubbed as the most-discerning, up–to-the-minute voice and the global citizen’s bible relating to luxury travel, Conde Nast Traveller organized an awards event in Abu Dhabi attended by various travel, hospitality, media influencers, and other corporate industries.
The tourism community came together to celebrate yet another achievement, with the Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards, to recognize their notable contributions to global travel.
After submission of ratings and comments, as well as casting of votes by over 300,000 travelers, Conde Nast Traveller awarded destinations across the globe, in several categories in which Seychelles have won Favorite Beach Island Destination of the year.
Ahmed Fathallah, Seychelles Tourism Board Dubai Office in Dubai Regional Manager, together with the Seychelles Tourism Board CEO, Sherin Francis, received the award. “This is an achievement that inspires the team and me to carry out effort in promoting the destination and to arrange even more events as a way of acknowledging and thanking our valued partners across media, trade, consumer and corporate sectors. Our success is a tribute to our combined efforts” said Fathallah.
