CNN’s Max Foster takes a behind-the-scenes look at the chapel and follows the journey Meghan Markle will make from her carriage to the altar on May 19th.
Windsor Castle has been home to royalty for nearly 1000 years and within its grounds lies St. George’s Chapel, where many members of the royal family have been baptised, married and laid to rest.
It’s in this iconic building that Prince Harry will wed Meghan Markle in just a couple of weeks’ time.
When Markle is driven into these hallowed grounds, packed with special guests, she will mark a new chapter in this most famous of family histories. Built by King Henry VIII 500 years ago, Markle will literally walk over his grave as she walks down the chapel’s aisle to meet her fiancée at the altar.
