Bombay To Mumbai Café, the urban modish concept from Mumbai offering an amalgam of contemporary as well as local desi cuisine, is now open at the Marco Polo Hotel, Deira, Dubai. Former known simply as ‘The Bombay’, Bombay To Mumbai café has undergone a total makeover, from a refreshed menu designed keeping in mind the tastes of the local as well as expat crowd of the city to the quirky yet chic interiors of the café and bar concept.
Inspired by the old Bollywood appeal of the city of dreams, Mumbai, the café and bar offers a choice of delectable desserts, dinner meals and drinks that are sure to add zing to every meal. Enjoy live music every day of the week, with a three-piece band during the weekends alongside some truly desi soft and hard drinks with a zang of contemporary flavor.
Commenting about the total rebrand of The Bombay, Harish Pilar, General Manager, Marco Polo Hotel, said “We are excited for this new endeavor at the Marco Polo Hotel, Deira. The Bombay had always been a traditional Indian restaurant with an appeal starkly contrasting the new Bombay To Mumbai Café, which is retro yet modern.
“Our menu is our foremost reason for the rebrand: Chef Madan and his team have worked hard to create a flavorful menu that includes our own concoctions such as Naan-a-keesh, gola cocktails, and so much more. We’re proud of the legacy of Mumbai and as the city changed, so did we. This is a start to a brand-new Mumbai-style café and bar, and we look forward to its reception in the market.”
Bombay To Mumbai Café offers a complete vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu, as well as Tapas @ The Lounge, in the lounge setting of the café. One can also find the largest variety of Indian as well as international spirits in the carefully devised drinks menu, as well as spiked golas and fun cocktails.
Street foods like Pani Poori and Bun Maska Chais, as well as tandoor and biryani options are a part of the mix. A full 180-degrees from the original The Bombay vibe and menu, Bombay To Mumbai café is a refreshing Bollywood, glitzy and glamorous upgrade.
Located at the prestigious Marco Polo Hotel, Dubai, Bombay To Mumbai Café is an all-new, retro-metropolitan space that celebrates Mumbaikar-culture to the fullest. Formerly open as a fine-dining space called The Bombay, BMC Café hosts a light, fun ambience with a futuristic view of Mumbai City.
