    DUBAI FITNESS CHALLENGE RAISES THE BAR AT BURJ PARK

    Dubai Fitness Challenge transformed Burj Park into an outdoor gym this weekend with mobile fitness units equipped to provide Dubai’s residents and visitors an incredible range of workout options out in the open with the tallest building in the world as their view. A wonderland for fitness enthusiasts, the venue was abuzz with people sweating it out on the various rowing machines, weight equipment’s, parkour training facilities and dedicated play and fitness zones spread across the park.

    The Burj Park weekend saw the ladies give it their all on the special ladies only day during the 3-day carnival, with exclusive access to the full range of equipment, facilities, training sessions, expert fitness trainers and physio services. In addition to the dedicated day for ladies, participants also took part in a host of free fitness sessions including Super Abs, Zumba, Body Pump, Grit Cardio and more. Mothers with kids in tow took advantage of the children’s play and fitness zones, ensuring their little ones are fully taken care of while they focus on their own 30×30 goals.

    Gearing up for the final weekend at Dubai Festival City on 17-18 November, guests are encouraged to make the most of the final 6 days of free fitness classes and host of activations across the city. World champion heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua will take center stage at the closing ceremony of the Dubai Fitness Challenge along with other sporting and fitness experts to celebrate the success of the Dubai’s first city-wide fitness movement. The event will also feature the much-awaited Dubai Fitness Challenge closing ceremony featuring a breath-taking water and light show and massive firework display.

    Dubai Fitness Challenge has been created to motivate Dubai’s citizens, residents and visitors to boost their physical activity and commit to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days. Running until 18 November, the Challenge encompasses all forms of activity – from beach cricket, cycling, football to paddle-boarding, team sports, walking and yoga and everything in between.  Participants can track their performance and their contribution to the city on the DFC app.
