Brunch is back at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, with an enticing new epicurean concept – The Epicurean Brunch
Gourmands will love the latest Friday afternoon offering, which is dedicated to mouthwatering flavors and features an extensive selection of drinks, live stations, and delectable desserts, all served in an elegant space facing the turquoise sea.
“This weekend package features the very best of our acclaimed fine-dining cuisine,” said Marwan Fadel, Hotel Manager of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
“We aimed to create a welcoming ambiance offering truly authentic dishes from many parts of the world, such as Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and even Mongolia.”
Oléa is a Mediterranean venue that offers Lebanese and Italian favorites, while pan-Asian fare prepared by the hotel’s other eateries includes many quintessential dishes, from tandoori chicken and sushi to shabu-shabu, a Japanese delicacy of thinly sliced red meat.
Fans of fruits de la mer can expect a treat, with exquisite French oysters and herb-marinated gravlax, a Scandinavian dish of dry-cured salmon, amongst the offerings. Another specialty is seafood pasta with spaghetti, mussels, and tomatoes, simmered, Italian-style, in a huge steel pan named a pentolo.
A carnivore’s dream, the brunch includes prime cuts of meat and an extensive selection of cheese, while sweet treats available at live serving stations include cotton candy, chocolate truffles, and ice cream from American brand Cold Stone Creamery.
Refined yet relaxed, and distinctly child-friendly, The St. Regis Epicurean Brunch is the kind of event at which adults can converse as younger guests are entertained. The renowned Smooth band provides the music, setting a relaxing tone without drowning out conversation, making it the ideal choice for a civilized catch-up with friends.
The St. Regis Epicurean Brunch runs from 1pm to 4pm each Friday. Packages start from AED 315 for soft drinks, rising to AED 410 including house beverages and AED 590 for a premium package that includes food and bubbly. Children aged six to 12 can dine for AED 150; under-fives eat free.
All prices are subject to a 10% service charge, 6% tourism fee and 4% municipality fee. For reservations, email restaurant.saadiyat@stregis.
