Ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas is all set to enthral Dubai with his soulful music on January 31st at JW Marriot Marquis Ballroom in Dubai.. Sit back and go on a musical journey down memory’s lane through a brand of music that only a legend can make. Pankaj Udhas will be performing his most memorable and hit songs specially for his fans and music lovers.
Sparked by Limitless Ideas, and managed by Artistry Konnect, the concert will also feature musical performances by leading DJ’s – DJ Shadow and DJ Girish – both leading DJ’s from Dubai and India respectively.
Pankaj Udhas is cited by critics as one of the driving forces who brought Ghazal style of music to the mainstream. Since emerging in 1986 through the hit song “Chitthi Aayee Hai,” Udhas had become a household name and a regular fixture in Indian charts.
He has recorded many albums since then and tours the world as an accomplished ghazal singer. In 2006, Pankaj Udhas was awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award.
